Manufacturing operational intelligence ROI calculator
Estimate the potential annual impact of running your operation on optimized decisions — constraint-aware scheduling, changeover reduction, inventory optimization, and planning automation. This is an illustrative model with transparent, editable assumptions, not a promised return.
Every figure below is an editable assumption. Adjust them to match your operation — the estimate recalculates live.
Illustrative estimate. Based on transparent, editable assumptions — not a promised return. Your actual results depend on validated data from your operation, which is what a working session is for.

How the estimate is calculated
Throughput gain
Revenue is multiplied by a conservative throughput-uplift assumption, scaled up modestly when your current OTIF has room to improve versus a 95% target. Better constraint-aware utilization tends to unlock output from assets you already own.
Changeover reduction
Weekly changeover hours are annualized, a share is assumed reclaimed through smarter sequencing, and reclaimed hours are valued at your contribution per productive hour (revenue ÷ annual productive line-hours).
Inventory reduction
A share of inventory value is assumed reducible with better operational decisions, and the annual saving is that reduction multiplied by your inventory carrying-cost rate.
Planning labor savings
Planner headcount (plants × planners per plant) is multiplied by fully-loaded planner cost and the share of planning time automation returns to the team.
Questions about the calculator
Is this a guaranteed return?
No. It is an illustrative model based on transparent, editable assumptions. It is designed to frame the size of the opportunity, not to promise a specific return. Real results depend on validated data from your operation.
Can I change the assumptions?
Yes. Every assumption — throughput uplift, changeover reclaimed, inventory reduction, carrying-cost rate, planner cost, and time saved — is editable, and the estimate recalculates live.
How is the estimate calculated?
It sums four independent components: throughput gain, changeover reduction, inventory carrying-cost savings, and planning labor savings. Each component shows its formula and the assumption behind it.
Can I export the results?
Yes. You can export your inputs, assumptions, and results as a JSON file to share internally or bring to a working session with our team.
